A little yak fiber in this yarn adds so much warmth & the dyed colors are so rich and earthy! Yak is 30% warmer than merino wool, so it's the perfect add-in to make a warm gorgeous sweater, scarf, cowl or hat!
I dyed this yarn with semisolid dye techniques to allow your finished objects be as gorgeous all knit up or crocheted up or woven up as it is in the skein!
This yarn knits up into a lovely, soft fabric with a bit more drape than a pure wool yarn, and the hint of sheen from the silk is really pretty. I love the slight variations in color. It gives just the right amount of visual interested to plain stockinette.
