Muga silk was historically reserved for royalty. Antherawa assamensis silkworms produce cocoons that are comprised of a long, single thread. One of the more rare forms of silk, prized for its ability to retain its luster, and can even improve luster after every wash.
The gorgeous rich golden tan color is the natural color of the silk from the cocoons.
