Tussah silk is a wild silk from cocoons of tussah moths. Silkworms eat leaves from oak and jamun trees, rich in tannin. Silkworms produce uneven filaments, creating more loft than cultivated silks. Because there's a little more texture to this fiber, tussah silk is one of the more pleasant silks to spin.
Silk combed top comes in a 6 inch by 9 inch zip top clear bag with label and a little over 2 ounces in bag.
