A little yak fiber in this yarn adds so much warmth & the dyed colors are so rich and earthy! Yak is 30% warmer than merino wool, so it's the perfect add-in to make a warm gorgeous sweater, scarf, cowl or hat!
I dyed this yarn with semisolid dye techniques to allow your finished objects be as gorgeous all knit up or crocheted up or woven up as it is in the skein!
A dep red color. This yarn is a favorite for me, its warm and soft with enough twist for making a knitted textured pattern stand out. No issues with the consistency of the yarn. I do alternate all hand dyed yarns when making any large project, like a cardigan. However this yarn was purchased for a hat, no need to alternate skeins.
