Duck Pond Socks Set, Yak Toes Sock Yarn Kit

Looking for the perfect gift for a knitter or for you? This Sock Kit is Just Ducky! These cute socks were designed by my friend Ellen from The Chilly Dog! My muscovy ducks' footprints in the snow were the inspiration for these socks AND a cool shawl! 

NOTE: Some pictures show 2 full sized skeins (I'm taking new photos and will post as soon!) Kit includes one full skein and one half skein, but in these colors.

These toe-up socks were inspired by the Muscovy ducks who waddle around my Treasure Goddess Yarn studio. Duck prints walk their way down the socks. Contrasting garter ridges add a pop of color and texture. The pattern has been graded for 5 sizes that will fit most adult feet.

STORY:
I posted a few pictures of my adorable muscovy ducks' footprints in the snow last winter. These ducks do not migrate, but live year round at our homestead. They can fly, but their favorite thing to do is wander back and forth from our barn to the pond. A designer friend of mine, Ellen from The Chilly Dog, decided these cute duck prints HAD to become a shawl! Next thing you know, we collaborated with her design skills and my luxury hand dyed yarn to bring THE BEST COMBINATION OF YARN & PATTERN IN THE HISTORY OF TIME (or at least that's what I think)! Now she's been thinking of those duck prints and decided they NEEDED TO BECOME SOCKS!
