Coils Hat Knitting Pattern, Pattern for Handspun Yarn Art Yarn

Coils Hat Pattern for handspun coils art yarn! Pattern includes written instructions as well as photo tutorial for technique for knitting with coils yarn. Wondering what to knit with that amazing coils yarn you've created/purchased? This is the hat for you!

Yarn requirements:
approx. 50-60 yards Heavy worsted to bulky art yarn (coils, granny knots, beehives, twists, cocoons, etc would work)
approx 65 yards worsted weight commercial wool yarn (cascade 220 was used in the hats shown)

Needle size: 10.5 US (6.5 mm) circular needle 16" length AND 4 size 10.5 US (6.5 mm) double point needles, or whatever size it takes YOU to get a good fabric.

Gauge: Coils yarn-- approx 3.5 stitches to the inch (2cm)
Gauge: Worsted yarn -- approx 3.75 stitches to the inch (2cm)

Yarn used in pattern is Treasured Coils Handspun, available on my etsy shop, but you could use any kind of art yarn!
