hand dyed navy blue worsted weight yarn
Colorway: Fathoms Deep
TREASURED WARMTH - this yarn is READY TO SHIP!
Beware ye' don't end up Fathoms Deep! This is an amazing yarn base. I hand dyed with professional dyes in colors of dark navy blues to rich midnight blues, almost black at some points. It's heavenly and has such depth when knit or crocheted up! This is 8 ply worsted weight yarn and looks amazing in cables, complicated lace patterns as well as good old stockinette. The semi-solid kettle dye techniques I used means that this yarn has real depth when knit or crocheted up. It wears like a dream and is awesome for hats, sweaters, mittens and everything in between!
Fiber: 100% superwash merino wool
Weight: 100 g/ 200 meters/ 218 yards
Gauge: worsted weight
Care: hand wash, lay flat to dry **or machine wash gentle, lay flat to dry**
This colorway sometimes “crocks”, which means it can turn your fingers blue while knitting/crocheting/weaving with it. It IS colorfast and will not bleed or run. It’s just something that can react with ph on some people’s hands and fingers. It does not rub off when worn.
