I have something fun to announce! I was asked to create a colorway that represented the Everglades National Park for a yarn club. The club is called “Knit Your Adventure: Park Wanderer 2017”. The idea is you get to road trip virtually through your yarn. There are four dyers who dyed their interpretation of four national parks. Mine was the first, so it got to go out with the goody packs full of tote bags, tea, pattern, stickers, buttons and candy. Fabulous, right? Wish I was going on that virtual road trip myself!
Anyway, what do you think of the yarn? Should it become a standard Treasure Goddess colorway? I’m pretty in love with it actually, but I love almost everything that comes out of my dye pots, so I’m a bit biased. I ran out of dye, so had to order more and am hoping to dye up more to put into my Treasure Goddess Etsy Shop. It was dyed up on DK Treasures Base, 100% superwash merino, 100 grams and 274 yards/skein. I think it’s yummy….. what do you think?
